Well Lets See here. My last post was in AIT (advanced Individual Training) and absolutely nothing happened there. Seriously, my days involved class and movies I occasionally went to the mall and I spent an exorbitant amount of cash on movies at Hastings. That's six months of my life.
Then glorious Korea. I have to say this, Korea, kicks, major, ass. Being army in Korea, sucks ass. The food there is awesome. I had already decided before I left that I was going to eat everything. Many times i was out in korea proper with friends and stopped at a street food stand.
A little side note here, There are street food stands everywhere, they line the streets in some places. they're basically roach coaches without the trailer. and the food in them is awesome; Dok Boki, Yaki Mandoo, Chicken Skewers, Fried Silk worms (not kidding). But back to the story.
So we stopped at a street food stand and I just point at some random food they have for sale. The lady holds up 5 fingers, indicating 5000 won. I pay her and my friends look at me....
"Do you know what that is?" they say incredulously.
I promptly say "no," and then proceed to put it in my mouth.
The food in Korea, no wait. Food is awesome. If you don't eat it you wont know.
The first six months in korea were pretty cool Work, go to my room play video games (I no longer play wow). And on the weekends explore Korea.
One of my favorite trips I took was down to Busan with a friend. We left at noon and arrived around six. On the train there (Korea has an awesome public transit system) We ended up talking to an 80 year old man who actually served during the Korean war. He worked on the radars, and after the armistice his work experience translated to an electrical engineering degree and so he was picked up at Samsung. I enjoyed myself even though the mans English was understandable wasn't very practiced.
When we arrived at the Busan train station we explored the area and found that there was nothing there. Except Chin-town, which was populated almost exclusively by Russians. we even got propositioned by a Russian pimp. "You want company? We have many beautiful girl"
Eventually we hailed a cab told him to take us to the party and clubbed our way through Busan with a couple Canadians.
That was the first half of Korea. Next time I'll regale you with my 21st birthday.

Army Life
Well it's been a while since my last post. Since then I have turned 19, joined the ARMY, started Basic, turned 20, graduated Basic, started AIT in san angelo Texas. And passed Fusion... No I wont go into that. So I have accomplished a bit. Life is good sleep, eat, class, PT, (Physical Training) Repeat. Its nice to have a set scheduel. All in all the Army isn't much different from being a civilian. Work Sleep Play. I do everything I did as a Civilian as a Military Personel. The only main difference is that you can get in serious trouble if you try the same bullshit most civilians do. Call In sick, plain skip, show up late. Most of us hold ourself to those standards, But there are, as allways a few shitheads. The army has a way of weeding those out though.
My MOS (Military Occupational Speciality) Is a 35N, Signal Intelligence Analyst, My MOS alone is responsible for around 85% of the capture and kills in the War on Terror. No I can't tell you what I do Look It up. That will be the most I could tell you. Anyway it is my weekend and I want to go out and do something. Have fun and take care.

WOOHOO!!!
ALRIGHT! I am the proud owner of my own computer, It is incredibly minute. and very cute if I may say so myself. Anyways my new job at red robin is coming long great, of course im stressing out over every little thing while I'm there but the people are really encouraging and very nice; the main thing I'm worried about is that I wont be able to move fast enough but everyone contenues to encourage me that speed comes with time, so my stressing is kept to minimum. I am going to have a great weekend, I get to chill with Brett, while helping him move, get fed, game with Loretta, and sleep and then on Sunday, a really good friend from LO is coming over that I haven't seen in a year. So life is looking up for the first time in a while, anyways that's all I have to say at the moment so I will post again later. See ya!
